MULTI-PURPOSE HOLDINGS BERHAD (MPHB or The Company) made an announcement to Bursa Malaysia today on - REVISION OF PRIZES FOR 4D BIG GAME
We refer to our announcement dated 1 July 2010 entitled "Increase in Pool Betting Duty imposed on Magnum Corporation Sdn Bhd ("Magnum")".
The Company wishes to inform that Magnum, a subsidiary of MPHB, has on 3 December 2010 obtained approval from the Ministry of Finance to revise the Special Prizes for its 4 Digit Big Game from RM200 per RM1 bet to RM180 per RM1 bet with effect from 15 December 2010.
The Special Prizes for the 4Digit Big permutation variant "Magnum mBox Big", will be revised accordingly with effect from the same date.
The revised prize structure is expected to have a positive impact on the earnings of Magnum and hence, MPHB for the financial year ending 31 December 2010.
This announcement is dated 6 December 2010.
