PANTECH proposed higher dividends

Pantech Group's net profit in the last quarter ended March 31 was at RM10.291 mil compared with the previous corresponding period.

Turnover declined by half to RM66.519 mil on lower sales volume.

Full year net profit was RM50.353 mil compared to RM61.459 mil previous year. Earning per share was RM13.46 compared to RM16.43 last year.

Eventhough the profit dropped compared to previous year, the management is proposing final dividend per share of 1.2 cents, better than last year's 1.0 cents. Total dividends for the year is 4.20 cents against 3.00 cents last year. NOT BAD !
