IRIS gets sustainable agro turnkey job

Iris Corp Bhd has been appointed the turnkey contractor by Koperasi Atlet Malaysia (KAMB) for the development of a RM50 million sustainable agro community project.

Located on a 100-acre site in Tanjung Tualang, Kinta, Perak, the project will be the country's single largest sustainable greenhouse farm.

"Iris has found an inspiring partner," Iris managing director Datuk Tay Say Jim told reporters at the contract signing ceremony between Iris and KAMB today.

He said the project would not only elevate the livelihood of farm workers but also contribute positively towards creating a national agriculture sector that is dynamic and competitive while contributing to the Malaysian economy. - Bernama
