Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) is launching a limited edition of the Myvi today, particularly for young and urban women.
In a statement yesterday, Perodua said the 1.3-litre Myvi LE was available only in automatic transmission and in three colours — ivory white, ebony black and dazzling red.
“The new variant sports a gorgeous makeover on the interior and the cheery exterior appeals to the young and hip ladies who want to make a statement with a car that matches their lifestyle,” Perodua managing director Aminar Rashid Salleh said.
The Myvi LE is based on the 1.3L Standard Automatic Transmission variant. The interior is fitted with new trim colours, seat fabric, door inner handles, exclusive carpet mat and decorative cubic printing on the centre cluster as well as the door trim armrests.
Also included are dual airbags for the driver and front passenger, USB and bluetooth connectivity. Apart from the new body colour, the exterior of the Myvi LE is fitted with smoke-clear rear combination lamp, grade mark (Limited Edition) and side door moulding.
“All these features come for just an additional RM1,700 compared with the 1.3 Standard AT variant,” Aminar said.
The Myvi LE is priced at RM48,600 for metallic paint colours and RM500 less for the solid colours. Perodua hopes to sell about 1,000 units of the Myvi LE out of the total 7,000 units of Myvi sold monthly.
