The Employees Provident Fund Board (EPF) disposed of 33.72 million shares in IOI Corp Bhd over the past seven trading days from July 27 to Aug 5, representing a 0.5% stake in the plantations heavyweight.
Filings with Bursa Malaysia Securities showed the EPF sold three million shares on July 27 and two million shares the next day. Another filing showed it sold 820,700 shares on July 29 and 2.409 million shares the next day.
It disposed of 3.69 million shares on Aug 2 and 7.5 million shares on Aug 3. The latest filing saw it disposing of 7.3 million shares on Aug 4 and seven million shares the next day.
After the latest disposals, the EPF’s shareholding in IOI Corp was reduced to 12.77% or 814.32 million shares. IOI Corp shares were trading between RM5.10 and RM5.13 during the seven trading days.
