MAXIS offers Holy Ramadan specials

During the holy month of Ramadan, Maxis Bhd will offer the customers of its pre-paid brand, Hotlink, special Ramadan related content, more talk time and SMS, as well as free Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) hot meals.

Hotlink and Maxis customers who purchase the Hotlink Ramadhan-Raya Hot Tickets pre-paid cards available in denomination of RM15 and RM10, would be able to enjoy the special treats.

The ticket was made available starting today at all Maxis centres, Maxis exclusive partners, Maxis exclusive partners and dealers and Hotlink dealers in the Klang Valley and will be available nationwide throughout the months of Ramadan and Syawal.

Maxis Senior Vice President and Head of Business Services, Fitri Abdullah said their Muslim customers will enjoy special mobile contents such as information on daily prayer times and the times for starting and breaking of fast.

Ramadan mobile content will be automatically triggered when the Hot Ticket is activated and if the services are not required, customers would just have to type "Stop BP" and send to 22558, he said.

With the RM15 Ramadhan-Raya Hot Ticket, customers will also get 120 minutes talk time and be able to send 300 SMS worth RM60 as well as a complimentary KFC two-piece chicken plate treat for breaking fast.

Maxis has also set up a unique WAP micro-site called Ramadan on its web portal where customers can subscribe to or download Ramadan contents on their mobile phones by typing "GET RA" and sending it to 26000 to access the site. -- Bernama
