Nokia launches the E7, its first this year

NOKIA, the world's largest phonemaker, has launched its first phone for 2011 called the E7.

The Finnish firm dubbed the E7 as the ultimate business smartphone.

Priced at RM1,995, the phone, available in Malaysia since last weekend, provides solutions to proffessionals such as mail for exchange, Microsoft communicator mobile, music player, camera and video, mobile web browsing, Ovi store and Ovi maps, which are probably the world's best mobile navigators.

Nokia general manager for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Vlasta Berka said the phone will meet the needs of the complex business users in one device, and the E7 will be an indispensable and ultimate business smartphone.

Other features include view PDF files with Adobe reader, intranet access, high-resolution photos and high-definition videos, eight megapixel camera, dual LED flash, 16 gigabyte flash memory, USB on the go and others.

The phone is also offered with a selection of attractive packages with operator partners Maxis and Celcom.

Nokia shipped over 12 million Eseries business smartphones (Eseries) in the first half of 2010, representing a 50 per cent growth compared to the same period in 2009. - by btimes.com.my
