Unlimited mobile Internet from RM28/month

U Mobile Sdn Bhd, a 3G mobile service and data solutions provider, introduced today its new Unlimited Mobile Internet (UMI), aimed mainly at smartphone users.

The product focuses on providing mobile internet connectivity to subscribers at an affordable price of RM28 per month, with 100 minutes of free talk time and 30 short message service (SMS).

"Through the UMI, we are now delivering solutions to meet the needs of our mobile internet consumers, at the lowest rate in the market," said its chief executive officer, Dr Kaizad Heerjee at the launch of the UMI today.

Since U Mobile's inception in 2007, it has constantly kept up with the demands of the current technologically savvy generation consumers in mind.


"We have worked with global leaders in infrastructure and network development, and have leveraged on domestic expertise and capabilities.

"Last month, we concluded our back end development. Once again, I am proud to say that our network, is at least on par with the other mobile service providers in Malaysia," Kaizad said. --Bernama
