PETRA PERDANA BHD share price rose on Monday, June 28 after the company received Bursa Securities' approval to place out 10% of its paid-up share capital to Nam Cheong Dockyard Sdn Bhd.
However, it would still need shareholders' approval at the June 28 AGM. At 9.25am, the stock added six sen to RM1.36 with 79,600 shares traded.
Petra Perdana said Nam Cheong was a potential strategic investor which could benefit the company in the long-term.
