Stamford College declines in early trade

STAMFORD COLLEGE BHD share price declined in early trade on Monday, June 28 on profit taking after having surged last Friday, and was down two sen to 47 sen with 666,700 shares traded at 9.45am.

The Practice Note 17 company is awaiting Bursa Malaysia Securities' approval for its proposed diversification into the manufacturing of low alloyed, alloyed and long steel products.

In the first quarter ended March 31, 2010, it reported net profit of RM1.61 million on the back of RM9.65 million in revenue. Its net assets per share were 56 sen.
