Malaysia’s economic growth may slow in the second half of the year because of “external factors,” Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said in Putrajaya, outside of Kuala Lumpur.
“It’s important for us to have a robust domestic demand to spur and balance the economy,” he said in a speech today.
Malaysia’s government will present its 2011 budget to Parliament on October 15, he said. -- Bloomberg
