MMM trading suspension

Malaysian Merchant Marine Bhd says it has failed to submit its annual audited accounts for the financial year ended March 31 to Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd for public release within the stipulated timeframe under the Main Market Listing Requirements (LR).

Hence, trading in its securities will be suspended from 9am on Monday until further notice.

Pursuant to Paragraph 9.28(6) of the LR, if a listed issuer fails to issue the outstanding financial statements within six months from the expiry of the relevant timeframe, in addition to any enforcement action that Bursa Securities may take, de-listing procedures will be started against such listed issuer.
